Three events in one:
- The Business of Careers: A dialogue between (a) professionals responsible for recruiting and selecting people for state careers and (b) professionals responsible for placing people with disabilities into careers.
- Medical Ethics: An exploration of how the art, science and business of medicine shapes social policy (and career opportunities) for people with disabilities.
- Individual Career Advancement: A ‘how to' on leveraging your disability experience (or a family member's or a client's) to maximize career options via optimizing health and wellness, managing state insurance and support services, and networking the three disability inner circles.
That Morning (9:30 – 11:30): The Business of Careers -
a dialogue between (a) professionals responsible for recruiting and selecting people for state careers and (b) professionals responsible for placing people with disabilities into careers.
Michigan's largest employer anticipates major shifts in its workforce. State Personnel Director Stephens outlines the shifts and the strategic response.
